IDS serves a variety of non-profit groups with a wide range of missions and focus. The following is a list of valuable items that non-profits continually request.

Clothing & Shoes
There is always a great need for clothing and shoes among non-profit agencies.  At IDS, we want to make sure that each pair of shoes and every article of clothing benefit someone in need.  That is why we sort and count your inventory when it arrives at our warehouse. We want to make sure non-profits receive only what they can utilize.  When you donate clothing or shoes to IDS, please donate new and fully functional items.  IDS will accept seconds and irregular items as long as they are beneficial to the end recipient.

Personal Care Items
Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, razors, and other hygiene items are constantly sought after. Please contact IDS if you have useable products even if they are packaged in bulk or have labeling misprints. IDS will repackage products to make them usable to the end recipient.

Blankets and Household Goods
Throughout the year, non-profits contact IDS in search of blankets and other household goods.  IDS works with groups that distribute supplies to orphanages, hospices, community centers and refugee camps.  Household commodities such as blankets, bedding, dishes, decorative items and picture frames can help needy families create homes.

Pharmaceuticals
IDS is committed to handling pharmaceutical donations with the utmost integrity. Our goal is to help distribute excess pharmaceuticals to organizations serving those in need. IDS has secured all licensure and certification necessary to receive medications into our warehouse for distribution to our non-profit groups.

For your safety, IDS carefully observes all expiration dating on received pharmaceuticals.  In most cases, 12-18 months dating is needed to ensure products are used before the expiration date.   There are select times, however, when shorter dated drugs can be used.  For this reason, please let us know whenever a product is available.

IDS will secure a home for your product before it is shipped.  This ensures that the medicines you are giving will be used responsibly within the expiration dates.

Below is a list of IDS pharmaceutical guidelines:

•    We can accept any over-the-counter drugs.
•    We can accept many different prescription drugs.
•    We do not accept Class III Drugs or Narcotic drugs into our warehouse, but will help you place the medicines overseas within DEA compliance.

We continually maintain our DEA and Oklahoma Pharmacy Board licenses.

The pharmaceutical donation process:

1.    Contact:  When a drug(s) is available, call IDS with the drug name, NDC number, quantity available, expiration dates, pallet or box count and estimated weight.
2.    Placement:  IDS will communicate with our network of non-profit groups to find a suitable home for your offered products. We will usually have your product placed within three business days.
3.    Shipment:  Once a home is found for your products, IDS will contact you to arrange shipping details.

Toys, Art Supplies, and Educational Supplies

Excess inventory of toys and art supplies are an extra blessing to children. Non-profit groups need these items to stock community centers and to distribute to children individually. Please let us know when you have toys or art supplies that are slightly damaged or irregular. Non-profits are delighted to utilize them as long as they are still functional.
